High School Relationships

They're there, and then they're not. They come and they go. Yet for some reason, every girl feels as if the relationship ends, if they no longer have that significant other that they've been with for maybe two weeks...then they're life is over. I know I've done it too, not after two weeks, but I've felt as if I had nothing left for the time being after a breakup. But you know what? Life moves on. People change. If you and your significant other aren't together anymore, chances are you aren't supposed to be together. Simple as that. There are SO many other people out there aside from who you think you should be with. Chances are, the person your supposed to be with is STILL out there. So stop searching for them and just live your life. I mean really. Maybe .0976548% of people in the world are with the same person that they were with when they were fourteen. And you know what? The rest of the people that aren't are completely okay.

Don't stress high school relationships, there are more important things.

Mothers Day

Bare Minerals

Its expensive, yes. But its definitely worth it.

I've been wearing makeup since I was eleven years old.

Bare Minerals is by far the best product I have ever come across, and probably the one I'll end up using the rest of my life.

It covers, literally, everything.

And half the time, depending on whether or not you choose to cake it on your face, people can't even tell its there.

Why do girls insist on wearing clothes that are much too small for them?

Seriously...I hate it, its disgusting.

Walking around school just today, I think I saw five stomachs falling out the bottom of somebody's shirt.  Wear clothes that are flattering towards yourself, not ones that cut off all circulation. Its depriving.

And dudes, pull up your freaking pants, for real.

Less is More

Everybody loves accessories. Guy or girl, we all love them.

The thing about accessories though is ya gotta keep up with them.

I mean last I heard gold was out, and I just personally didn't like it.

But when I went to find silver shoes for prom, all I could find was gold?

When did that come back? I have no idea...

But point being, it changes. ALL THE TIME!

It used to be that the more accessories you had, the better you looked.

Its different.

Less is more.

The less ya have, the better ya look. Simple as that.

So don't walk into your local hangout with every piece of metal or chain hanging off your body, its not attractive anymore. I mean, I don't know if that was ever attractive? But you know what I mean...

Rumors are False

There are so many girls out there-and guys too I guess-that believe if they have their face coated in makeup they're absolutely gorgeous. Well if you're one of them I've got some news for you, you are soooo wrong.

Yes, makeup is nice. I like it too. Some people though take it to the EXTREMES! It shouldn't be halloween all year round, I mean, that's why they have a designated day for it every year...at the end up October.

The Big Picture

Life's all about making changes. It doesn't matter who you are, nothing will stay the same forever. For me, my current change is about to be going from the "little teenager" everyone sees me as and making my way into the real world. In sixteen days, I will be graduating from high school. Thirteen years I've spent preparing for this moment, thirteen years I've spent waiiting for this moment, thirteen years I've spent wanting it to all just fly by. Now, its here. And now, I just want to freeze time. Preparing for graduation is exciting, no doubt, but at the same time its scary. In sixteen short days I'll be stepping my way into the rest of my life along with 363 other kids I've spent the last four years of my life with. Some of them, I'll never see again. Some of them, I probably still don't even know exist. Few of them, will be a part of my life forever...very few. Its times like these when people stop and actually take a good look at the big picture, with what they're actually doing with their life. In sixteen days, the biggest change of my life will occur. I'm excited, I'm scared, I'm happy and I'm upset; but after thirteen years, I'm ready to take on my new life.

Cheaters

Listen up ladies, cheaters...they all work the same way. They'll sweet talk you and tell you everything you wanna hear, they'll lie to your face continuously to make you feel better, and in the end they'll make you feel like complete crap for believing them in the first place. So here's my advice for the day:

When your best friends and even your boyfriend's best friends are giving you warnings that you shouldn't be with him, chances are, you probably shouldn't be with him. Because in reality, unless you have one of those backstabbing friends that can't be trusted at all, all they're doing is looking out for you. Making sure you don't get yourself hurt over some stupid boy. So those friends of yours that try to look out for you? Don't get mad at them when they tell you something you wanna hear, be thankful that they care. If you don't, they might not be around when you feel like you need them most.

Thirteen Years Too Long

It happens every year, the final countdown 'till the last day of school has just begun, except this time its the last time. Am I excited for school to end and begin those long summer nights? Of course, I mean who wouldn't be. Am I excited to graduate after thirteen years of sitting in a desk eight hour a day, five days a week? Duh. Am I ready to take the responsibility of an adult and "grow up"? Not a chance. So these last days of school, I wanna live in my childhood years. Make it last while I can.

I wanna:

1. Buy those scented bubbles at K-Mart and have a competition with my best friend to see who can blow the biggest bubble.

2. Buy a disposable camera and take pictures of EVERYTHING

3. Build a blanket fort in my living room and have a sleepover.

4. Burn gourmet cupcakes that I spent hours making.

5. Make my own home-made pizza

6. Get some big, colorful sidewalk chalk and create beautiful art with my best friends(:

7. Go on a bike ride.

8. Go on a "staycation", and pretend to be tourists in a town nearby.

9. Make a stupid video and post it on youtube because I think its hilarious when its really not.

10. Go to the park just to swing on the swing set.

11. Walk around barefoot 'till my mom yells at me for not having any shoes on.

12. Bonfires in the middle of the night, chowing down on mountain pies.
