Life's all about making changes. It doesn't matter who you are, nothing will stay the same forever. For me, my current change is about to be going from the "little teenager" everyone sees me as and making my way into the real world. In sixteen days, I will be graduating from high school. Thirteen years I've spent preparing for this moment, thirteen years I've spent waiiting for this moment, thirteen years I've spent wanting it to all just fly by. Now, its here. And now, I just want to freeze time. Preparing for graduation is exciting, no doubt, but at the same time its scary. In sixteen short days I'll be stepping my way into the rest of my life along with 363 other kids I've spent the last four years of my life with. Some of them, I'll never see again. Some of them, I probably still don't even know exist. Few of them, will be a part of my life forever...very few. Its times like these when people stop and actually take a good look at the big picture, with what they're actually doing with their life. In sixteen days, the biggest change of my life will occur. I'm excited, I'm scared, I'm happy and I'm upset; but after thirteen years, I'm ready to take on my new life.

First tattoooo

Tattoos have already been popular for quite some time, but it seems to me that nowadays, more and more people seem to be getting them whether they have a special meaning or not.
I've always wanted a tattoo.
My older brother has always wanted a tattoo, but my parents are too strict to even consider letting the idea of us having one cross their mind.
When my brother graduated, he said "Mom, Dad...I want a tattoo." They pretty much laughed in his face, and to this day he still doesn't have one.
Now its my turn...its my graduation coming up now and I finally want to be able to get my first tattoo. I started letting my parents know by letting them see my status' on Facebook about me wanting a tattoo. You know, they kinda blew it off...whatever. But finally, I approached them about it-while my older brother was sitting in the room-and just came right out and asked them.
"Mom and dad, I want to get my first tattoo as my graduation gift"
My brother, he just laughed. And me? I thought I was just wasting my time even asking. But thats when both of us were in complete and total shock...my dad just said "Okay, find out what you want."
WHAT?!
I thought I heard him wrong...or he was just playing a sick joke, but I FINALLY got the okay to get my tattoo! Except now, I just have to wait for graduation day, great...
