Have you ever gone on a shopping trip to look for one thing inparticular and you just can't seem to find it, anywhere?! Unfortunately for me, that happens all the time. In fact, this just happened to me yesterday. I went to the mall with my mom to look for a pair of glitzy, silver shoes from my school's Senior Dinner Dance this weekend. Normally, that shouldn't have been so difficult, but did I have a variety of silver shoes to choose from? NO! I went to fourteen different stores and only ONE of them-which happened to be the very last one-had silver shoes at all. What did I see a lot of though? Gold, gold, gold! It was everywhere. Personally, I can't stand gold. It reminds me of that dirty brass color all the $5 rings from Walmart tarnish to. But hey, everyone's got their own opinion, right? And thinking about it, I have seen gold around a lot lately whether its in jewelry, shoes, or even the embellishings on clothing. But I'd say the rumors are true, whether or not everybody agrees with the decision, gold is taking over.
