Anonymous this person may stay, yes, however I will tell you that this statement came from a high school senior. If there are even teenage boys out there saying this, why are there still so many girls that cake loads upon loads of makeup onto their faces? You don't need all of that to be pretty, take this from someone whose learned. Yes, there are different styles a  person can choose from that may require more makeup, but can't we limit the amount we put on so it we don't look completely fake? The point of makeup in general is just so you can enhance your beauty, not to cake it on so thick that you can see the makeup line from a mile away! In order to help with this  case, here are some easy to follow pointers that could work for anybody:

• Always slather on primer and moisturizer before foundation
• this helps your foundation and concealer glide on smoothly instead of setting into wrinkles
• for best results, try applying the foundation/concealer within one minute of the primer
• Avoid full foundation coverage
• try to only apply to areas where you have an uneven skin tone, or in the winter time, on your cheeks if it begins to lose color. YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE A "CAKE FACE"!
• Make sure you pick the proper color
• Even if someone doesn't apply too much foundation, there can always be the problem of the foundation not matching your face correctly, then the whole WORLD would see this problem as well as the flaws you are already trying to hide
• Conceal dark under-eye circles
• take a peach/yellow-toned concealer and dab it near the inner corner of your eye with your fingertips and tap it into place. 
• Don't be afraid of bronzers
• use a big makeup brush and a LIGHT TOUCH, apply to all areas where the sun hits:
• forehead
• bridge of nose
• cheeks
• for more of a "pop", blend a creamy blush on top

After all of these steps are taken, all you need left is just a small amount of mascara and maybe even a little eyeliner, THAT'S IT! So come on ladies, let's try not to make ourselves look so ridiculous. Just follow these easy steps and you'll look gorgeous every day! (:
